Paul Foster’s BMW E21 with a 335 ci Rover V8
Paul Foster spent 10+ years transforming a rusty 1982 BMW E21 into a Group 2 inspired race car he can drive on the street. In the engine bay is a 335 ci (5.4 L) TVR/Rover V8 topped with Suzuki GSX-R1000 K2 throttle bodies and flanked by custom equal-length headers. The motor produces 250 hp to the wheels. Paul paired the V8 to a Cosworth T5 WC five-speed manual transmission, custom driveshaft, Quaife ATB limited-slip differential, and custom axles. The car rides on GAZ coilovers and Pirelli P Zeros tires (245/45, 345/35). On the body Paul installed a Group 2 body kit, Group 5-style rear wing, and custom aluminum spoiler.
