1972 International Scout with Two V6 Engines
This 1972 International Harvester Scout II came from the factory with a 196 ci (3.2 L) IH inline-four. It is now powered by two 4.3 L V6 motors bolted together at the crank. The motors sends their combined power through a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission to a narrowed Dana 40 rear end with 3.73 gears. The unique creation has a 112-inch wheelbase, 1967-1969 Camaro front subframe and suspension, and a 4-link rear suspension. A set of American Racing 15-inch wheels hold Mickey Thompson 26×7.5-inch tires in front and 29×13.5-inch tires in back. The modified body features a chopped roof, stretched front fenders and hood, shortened rear panels, and custom glass. The custom Scout is for sale on Bring a Trailer located in Bennett, Colorado.
