Adam Pela built this 1987 Chevrolet K10 into a Prerunner at his company DmaxSwap in Jupiter, Florida. Under the Harwood cowl hood is a 6.6 L Duramax LBZ diesel V8 featuring Mahle pistons, Calibrated Power Stealth 64 turbocharger, Pusher SuperMax Y-Bridge manifold, Exergy Performance Sportsmen injectors, Melling oil pump, and custom 4-inch exhaust. The motor produces 650 hp and 1,200 lb-ft of torque. Behind that is an Allison six-speed automatic transmission with a billet converter and AAM 11.5-inch rear end with 3.73 ratio. The truck sits on a boxed 2007 Silverado 2500 chassis with a custom back half. A set of MT 37×12.5-inch tires mount on Method Con6 17×10-inch wheels covered by AutoFab fiberglass fenders.
