Honda S2000 with a 1666 hp Turbo K-Series Inline-Four
Eric Jarvis built his Honda S2000 to drag race at his company Mad Scientist Auto (MSA) in Catlettsburg, Kentucky. The roadster is powered by a turbocharged K20/K24 inline-four capable of 1666 horsepower thanks to 70 psi boost, 150 shot nitrous, and VP M1 methanol fuel. The engine is built by MSA and features a Victory Precision Machine sleeved K24 block, K20 head, Drag Cartel Industries camshafts, SpeedFactory Racing Outlaw pistons, Precision turbocharger, Fuel Injector Development 2000 cc and Atomizer 550 injectors, and Haltech Elite 2500 ECU. The drivetrain uses a Powerglide two-speed transmission with a Bill Hincher adapter and Ford 9-inch rear end. Earlier this year Eric went 7.534 sec at 174.23 mph in the quarter-mile.
