Smart Fortwo with a Turbo 4A-GE Inline-Four Update

Søren Heyer and his company FUBAR Racing made a lot of progress on their drag racing Smart Fortwo project since our previous article. They now have the 4A-GE inline-four and Toyota MR2 transmission sitting on the modified subframe with custom mounts. They also fabricated a custom battery cover, intake manifold, fuel tank, and are working on exhaust headers. Up front they installed a new water-to-air intercooler and moved the pedals over to make space for a clutch pedal. Listen to Søren explain the project’s progress and what is next.
