Lexus RC F with a Supercharged 3UR V8

Published in engineswapdepot.com

Ahmad Daham is an accomplished professional drifter, tuner, and even a Guinness World record holder. So it should be no surprise that Lexus UAE wanted to partner with him on their Pro Drift Lexus RC F. Ahmad and his team spent 70 days and about 800 hours building it. Under the carbon fiber hood sits a supercharged 5.7 L 3UR-FE V8 connected to a Samsonas sequential transmission with a Competition Clutch twin-plate clutch. The V8 features a Harrop TVS2650 supercharger, PPE Engineering headers and exhaust, and Link G4+ Thunder ECU. Injector Dynamics ID1300x injectors feed the engine from three Walbro fuel pumps in a Radium FCST fuel cell. The coupe rides on BC Racing DS-series coilovers with a FIGS Engineering PROAngle steering kit. The body features a Pandem/Rocketbunny Tra-Kyoto kit and Python Fiber custom carbon fiber hood, trunk lid, and doors.
