Ford Sierra with a Turbo Cosworth Inline-Four

Published in engineswapdepot.com

Emil Hartung has spent a lot of time and effort in his garage in Denmark transforming his 1985 Ford Sierra Mk1 into a drift machine. The hatchback is powered by a turbocharged 2.0 L YBG (green top) inline-four from a 4×4 Sierra Sapphire Cosworth cooled with a BMW 540i V8 radiator. Emil hopes to make 350-400 horsepower thanks to a GTX35 turbocharger, Ecumaster ECU, and 3-inch side exhaust. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a T5 five-speed manual transmission, Ford Scorpio Cosworth differential, and Cosworth axles. The suspension uses extended control arms with VW Golf Mk2 ball joints. Emil improved braking with Wilwood 280 mm rotors and four-piston calipers in front and Cosworth disc brakes in back. Inside the cabin you find a stripped interior, roll cage, and lexan windows. Emil is looking forward drifting his new creation between working on his next project.
