VW Touran with a 3.6 L VR6

Published in engineswapdepot.com

Tom Berger wasn’t satisfied with the 2.0 L TDI inline-four in his 2005 Volkswagen Touran. He replaced the factory diesel and transmission with a 3.6 L VR6 and DSG six-speed automatic transmission from a Volkswagen Eos. The engine swap increased the van’s output from 140 hp and 320 Nm (236 lb-ft) of torque to 260 hp and 350 Nm (260 lb-ft) of torque. Tom paired the new powertrain with a set of KW V3 adjustable coilovers, Audi S3 aluminum control arms, Audi RS3 brakes (front), and Porsche Cayenne wheels.
