This 1968 Lotus Europa is bringing brought back to life in the spirit of a Type 47. The owner has built a custom tube frame chassis and full suspension in his garage. The front suspension consists of tubular wishbones and the rear uses reversed lower wishbones with trailing links and a single upper link. The Europa didn’t come with the factory engine or transmission so he had free reign to use whatever. But in keeping with the Type 47 theme he went with a 2.0 L Ford Zetec 16v inline-four with a set of Honda CBR900 carburetors. Running off a Magajolt ECU he expects it to produce around 150 horsepower. Behind the engine sits a five-speed NG3 transmission.
