Jay Leno’s Sleeper Toyota Drag Races Tim Allen’s Sleeper Ford

Jay Leno challenged his friend Tim Allen to a friendly drag race. Tim Allen brought his 1955 Ford Club Coupe powered by a supercharged 5.4 L V8 that produces 550 horsepower from a 2005 Ford GT. Jay originally brought his 1966 Dodge Coronet with a 426 HEMI V8 but after some “engine troubles” he went around the corner for another vehicle. This time around Jay brought a custom 2015 Toyota Camry built by Toyota’s Motorsports Technical Center. This project debuted at SEMA 2014 and features a custom tube chassis. The engine was a V8 out of a Toyota Tundra and is capable of 850 horsepower thanks to both a nitrous system and supercharger.
