Mazda RX-7 with a VR6

This little hybrid is called The Ratchet RX-7. Under the hood of this 1988 Mazda RX-7 sits a stock Volkswagen VR6 and a Precision 6266 turbocharger running off a Megasquirt EFI system. While out at I29 Dragway it made four eighth-mile passes resulting in times of 7.39, 7.21, 6.94, and finally the best time of 6.79 at 107.7 mph. This roughly calculates to a quarter-mile time of 10.7 seconds at 133.5 mph.
