Kim Garcia set out to build one of the widest Toyota AE86 in the world. Kim calls the project V86 because under the hood sits a 4.0 L 1UZ-FE that produces 290 horsepower. The engine connects to a Nissan RB25 manual transmission with a Spec Stage 2 clutch and finally to a 2-way LSD rear end. The car rides on a Nissan S13 front and rear suspension with AirREX air bags. The custom widebody kit developed by Kim is 7″ wide in the front and 7.5″ wide in the rear. Under those huge arches are a set of Fifteen52 Tarmac wheels custom made for the AE86. It took Kim three years to complete and whether it’s the widest or not, it’s for certain amazing.
