Scirocco with a Nissan RB26/30 Breaks Into the 7’s

When we last wrote about HEED-Auto’s AWD VW Scirocco it’s best quarter-mile was 8.181 sec at 281.09 kph (174.6 mph). Recently they broke that record with a 7.973 sec at 282.61 kph (175.6 mph). They call it the “SkyRocco” because under its silver body sits a Nissan RB30 block with a Nissan RB26 head with displacement increased to 3.2 liters. Together with 36.2 psi (2.5 bar) of boost the engine produces 1,200 horsepower to all four wheels. For more pictures and stats please read our previous article on the Scirocco here.
