Custom Land Cruiser with a 1UZ
This custom 1976 Toyota Land Cruiser was built by Andre Allers from Gauteng, South Africa. It took Andre 1,400 man-hours to turn pieces of a FJ45 body into a very wild classic. The body sits on a custom chassis and rides on a custom suspension. Under the hood sits a 4.0 L 1UZ-FE V8 that produces 300 horsepower and is connected to a Toyota A650E five-speed automatic transmission. The engine and transmission are controlled via the factory ECU and wiring harness. Power goes to the rear wheels through a Land Rover Discovery rear end with 3.75 gears. Andre modified the rear end from an offset differential location to a centered location. The only thing Andre didn’t work on himself was the driveshaft and window glass.
