This beautiful 1939 Oldsmobile Series 60 convertible is the winner of the prestigious Ridler Award for 2016. One amazing stat is this car has only two owners in it’s life. The project started when current owner Billy Thomas approached Customs and Hot Rods of Andice in Georgetown, Texas. The team started with an Art Morrison chassis that was heavily customized to fit their needs and a body that has 90% of the panels modified in some way. Under the hood sits a Joe Mondello built Oldsmobile 455 ci V8 increased to 470 ci and produces 650 horsepower. Behind the engine sits a 4L60E automatic transmission.
