Rocky Auto has no qualms when it comes to engine swaps. We have covered several projects of theirs and they will use whatever engine choice they feel suits. Under the hood of this 1974 Nissan Fairlady Z is a 3.0 L 2JZ inline-six connected to a single turbocharger. The engine is mated to a five-speed manual transmission. You might notice the steering wheel is on the “American side” because this is a left-hand drive HLS30 version. Rocky Auto also upgraded all the brakes to disc, upgraded the suspension and installed much wider tires.
