When we last wrote about this Plymouth truck the team was still putting the finishing touches before taking it to the Rocky Mountain Auto Show. Since then the truck is finished and runs under its own power.
The truck is called P.A.R.T. which stands for Plymouth Air Radial Truck. The 1939 Plymouth is powered by a 757 ci (12.4 L) Jacobs R-755-A2 radial aircraft engine. The engine is air-cooled, has seven cylinders and produces around 300 horsepower. The truck was built with an aviation theme with several airplane parts used in the construction. The team even had enough time to build a custom aircraft tug.
