Mercedes W211 with a OM606

The guys from Diesel Pump UK have just unveiled their new Mercedes W211 demo car. The car is powered by a 3.0 L OM606 inline-six turbo diesel with one of their quick spool turbo kits and new BorgWarner turbocharger. In the video below the team tunes the engine and continues to increase boost and fuel until they the factory exhaust won’t allow anymore power. The final numbers is 406 horsepower and 513 lb-ft of torque on 2.8 bar (40.6 psi) of boost.
With that kind of power they guys took time to upgrade the suspension and braking power with AMG eight-piston brakes. They also made the appearance match the performance with a E63 AMG bumper conversion and 19×10 Rotiform aluminum wheels.
