Nascar V8 Powered LFA: Now With Turbo

We have posted several articles (list at bottom of article) since Yoichi Imamura debuted his Nascar V8 powered Lexus LFA. If you don’t remember the LFA was totaled in a flood and turned into a drift race car powered by a 690 horsepower 5.8 L TRD Nascar V8. I just came across a post on Yoichi’s Facebook page showing the LFA testing the engine with a new turbocharger. Nascar engines run a pretty high compression ratio so it will be interesting how much power the turbo will add and what modifications they had to make to run one.
