Lada 2104 With A SR20DET
When this Lada 2104 was originally rolled out of the factory it never had the level of power it does not. Under the hood sits a Nissan SR20DET and Garrett GT2871R turbocharger. The engine has been upgraded with Tomei cams and Nismo 740 cc injectors and it produces 394 horsepower on 20 psi (1.4 bar) of boost.
The rest of the Lada is pretty much made up of Nissan Silvia parts. The five-speed transmission and rear suspension is sourced from a Nissan S14 while the front suspension, front and rear brakes, and steering system are sourced from a Nissan S13. The car weighs 2,447 lb (1,110 kg) and has a perfect 50/50 weight balance. Thanks to the increased power and low weight the car completes the quarter-mile in the low-12s and reaches 0-62 mph in 4.6 seconds.
