1991 Beretta GT With An Impala V6
I really enjoy reading an owner or builder talk about their project with a great sense of appreciation and love. For example the owner/builder of this 1991 Beretta GT has loved Berettas ever since high school and owned two previous to this project.
The owner started with a shell that was someone’s abandoned project and put it through a rotisserie-level restoration process. Every modification was done by the owner including the paint job. A lot of the parts for this project were taken from one of his previous Berettas (Z26).
The engine is a 3.4 L V6 from a 2006 Impala with modified Grand Am headers. The transmission is a factory (Z26) Muncie/Getrag five-speed with a LSD, SPEC clutch, and upgraded axles. This combo was good for a 14.4 second quarter-mile with 4th gear issues but the owner believes it has the ability to reach 13.9 on a clean run.
