Now that Ford has started selling its EcoBoost engines as crate models I have been seeing more and more projects using them. Take for example this 1972 Ford F100 truck built by Mobsteel. It features a 3.5 L twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 and a six-speed Tremec transmission.
