Between 1975–1976, GM took 3,508 Vegas and upgraded their 2.0 L inline-four engines with Cosworth developed heads to increase performance. Although it was an improvement it only produced 110 horsepower and 107 lb-ft of torque.
This 1975 Vega however runs a LS1. The engine has been upgraded with a Comp Thumpr cam, LS6 valve springs, and Comp Magnums pushrods. The oil pan has been switched to a Holley pan developed for ground clearance and swaps. Other changes are a water pump from a LS7, flywheel from a LQ9 truck, and a clutch from a big-block Chevelle.
The dealer is asking $21,950 for the car.
