Building A Porsche Cayman With A LS3

Your looking at someone’s mistake being turned into another’s dream. The owner purchased the Cayman with a blown motor and wanted to swap a GM LS3 or a Audi V8/V10. The owner decided to go with the LS3. The engine is using a Kennedy LS adapter to mount the engine to the factory Porsche transmission. Future plans call for a dry sump oiling system and a Quaife sequential transmission. I have seen 911s with a LSx motors but I have not heard of a Cayman getting one. It will be very interesting to see the performance compared to other Caymans. We will be following this build closely.
