Nissan Patrol with a M57 Diesel Inline-Six

This Nissan Patrol (Y61) went to IOD Performance in Poland for a powertrain swap. In the engine bay they installed a BMW M57 diesel inline-six capable of 333 hp and 779 Nm of torque. The motor features a Garrett GTB turbocharger, front intercooler, aluminum radiator, and custom 3-inch stainless steel exhaust. Behind the motor is a PMC Motorsport adapter connecting to an 8HP70X eight-speed automatic transmission. The rest of the Patrol’s 4WD drivetrain is retained thanks to a transfer case adapter. IOD Performance also rebuilt the brakes with DBA T3 4000 rotors. They covered those with 17-inch beadlock wheels holding 35-inch tires. IOD Performance says the Patrol reached 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 6.4 seconds.
