1987 Toyota Land Cruiser with a 2UZ V8 and FJ80 Chassis

Published in engineswapdepot.com

Proffitt’s Resurrection Land Cruisers (PRLC) built this 1987 Toyota Land Cruiser with a 4.7 L 2UZ-FE V8. A H55F five-speed manual transmission sends power to FJ80 axles with ARB air-locking differentials. PRLC swapped the factory chassis for a FZJ80 chassis. The 80-series chassis provides a better suspension design and four-wheel disc brakes. PRLC installed an Old Man Emu 2.5-inch suspension lift with their BP-51 shocks and a set of Delta Vehicle Systems (DVS) front radius arms. The FJ60 body received satin “Dune Beige” 416 paint with black trim. It also received a modified ARB front bull bar, PRLC rock sliders, and EZ Awn K9 roof rack. Under the arches are Nomad 17-inch wheels with 37-inch tires.
