BMW E46 with a 1,000+ hp LSx V8
The owner @oil3ak_e46 of this 2005 BMW 325ci (E46) wanted something more than the factory M54B25 inline-six. So in went a stroked 416 ci (6.8L) LSx V8 built with an iron block, forged rods and pistons, and VCM 825 camshaft. On top of the motor are LS3 heads with Manley valve springs and Scorpion rockers. Custom exhaust headers route to a S488 88 mm turbocharger. A Haltech Rebel LS ECU controls eight 2000 cc injectors fed by two 525 lph pumps. The owner expects the combo to produce 1000+ hp (735+ hp). Behind the V8 is a TR-6060 six-speed manual transmission and BMW M3 rear differential. They also modified the suspension with solid aluminum bushings on the subframes, polyurethane bushings everywhere else, and a set of BC Racing BR coilovers. To help control the four-digit power the owner upgraded to BMW 135i six-piston front brakes and two-piston rear brakes.
