Ford Falcon with a 900 hp Turbo 2JZ

Darren Hussey and his 1965 Ford XP Falcon called “Angry Bird” attended the Hot Rod Drags event at Santa Pod Raceway. The four-door Falcon is powered by a turbocharged 2JZ inline-six featuring forged internals, Enderle 110 mechanical fuel pump, BorgWarner 369 turbocharger, and nitrous system. The motor easily makes 901 hp (662 kW) on 30 psi (2.0 bar) of boost and E85 fuel. Behind the motor is an ATI TH400 three-speed automatic transmission and a Ford 9-inch rear end with a Strange nodular-iron center section. Watch Darren make several runs in the unique Falcon below.
