1968 Dodge Charger with a 528 ci HEMI V8

Pure Vision Design created this 1968 Dodge Charger at their company in Simi Valley, California. Under the modified hood sits a carbureted 528 ci (8.6L) HEMI V8 built by Hawaii Racing. Power is sent through a A833 four-speed manual transmission built by Passion Performance with an aluminum housing to a Dana 60 rear end with a 3.55 ratio. The car lost the factory suspension in favor of a Reilly MotorSports (RMS) AlterKtion front suspension and Street-Lynx rear suspension. There are also a power steering rack, adjustable coilovers, and Wilwood disc brakes. Pure Vision Design modified the hood with a scoop from a 1967 Coronet W023 drag special. The body is covered in a custom metallic blue by Mick’s Paint in Pomona, California. Inside the enlarged wheel openings are custom 15-inch wheels with Hoosier Pro Street tires measuring 26×7.5-inch in front and 29×12.5-inch in back.
