1988 Patrol with a Supercharged LSx V8

Published in engineswapdepot.com

Brad Kilby’s 1988 Nissan Patrol GQ originally came with a 4.2 L TB42 inline-six. It is now powered by a supercharged LSx V8 built by North Vic Engines. The engine build starts with a 6.0 L LY6 block, Callies forged crank, Callies H-beam rods, CP Bullet flat-top pistons, and Warspeed/Kelford camshaft. On top are two Quick Fuel 850 cfm carburetors and a TBS 6-71 supercharger. The motor is backed by a TH400 three-speed automatic transmission and Patrol rear end.
