1972 Camaro with a Supercharged LS7

Published in engineswapdepot.com

This 1972 Camaro Z28 is the result of Maltry Motorcars in Tucson, Arizona. The orange muscle car is no longer powered by a carbureted 350 ci (5.7L) LT1 V8. It is now powered by a supercharged Mast Motorsports Black Label LS7 V8. The Whipple supercharger helps the motor produce 900 hp (661 kW) to the crank or 740 hp (544 kW) to the wheels. A RAM Powergrip HD triple-disc clutch transmits that power to a Tremec TKX five-speed manual transmission and 9-inch rear end. The Camaro’s suspension benefits from tubular front control arms, adjustable coilovers, and Heidts Pro-G 4-link rear suspension with Pandhard bar. A set of Classic Performance Products (CPP) brakes are covered by Billet Specialties wheels wearing BFGoodrich G-Force Rival 335/30 tires. The Camaro was sold at Barrett-Jackson in 2025.
