1969 Chevy C30 Tow Truck Powered by a 6.0L LSx V8 with a Hellcat Supercharger

Published in engineswapdepot.com

John Brito and Dustin Hallinan built this 1969 Chevy C30 tow truck on their channel Driveway Finds. The team swapped the carbureted 350 ci small-block V8 for a supercharged 6.0 L LSx V8. John and Dustin rebuilt the LSx with a Tick Performance SNS003 camshaft, upgraded pushrods and valves springs, rebuilt heads by Josh’s Engine Rehab, and Holley LSA accessory drive. On top they installed a Hellcat 2.4 L supercharger using Trinity Performance adapters. Behind the motor is a modified Lakewood 15003LKW bellhousing and Mcleod RTX clutch connected to a Muncie SM465 four-speed manual transmission. John and Dustin also swapped the factory rear end for a 14-bolt rear end with a limited-slip differential and 3.21 ratio. Watch the duo build the C30 truck in the video below.
