Logan Williams from Logan’s Speed Shop converted this Toyota Echo to rear-wheel drive. The conversion starts with a 1.8 L “7AGE” inline-four swapped into the engine bay. The motor features a 7A-FE bottom-end, 4A-GE 16v head, upgraded camshafts, individual throttle bodies, and Haltech R3 ECU. Logan fabricated a custom 2.5-inch stainless steel exhaust. Behind the motor is a Toyota T50 five-speed manual transmission and shortened S13 rear end. The rear suspension uses a S13 subframe and shocks towers, GKTech control arms, and Shockworks custom coilovers. You can watch the car’s build process on Logan’s channel. The car was recently purchased by Low Standards to offer in a sweepstakes.
