Fenton Sun Driving a K24-Powered Lotus Exige at Sonoma Raceway

Published in engineswapdepot.com

Fenton Sun from Zygrene test drove Trackspec Autosports’ 2008 Lotus Exige at Sonoma Raceway. The race car benefits from a 2.4 L Honda K24A inline-four producing 235 hp (172 kW) to the wheels. The motor features aftermarket camshafts, ported head, Supertech valvetrain, Hytech exhaust header, and Emtron KV8 ECU. It is paired to a JDM DC2 Honda Integra Type R manual transmission. Trackspec Autosports upgraded the handling with JRZ RS Pro3 shocks, spherical bearings, and upgraded control arms. The brakes use AP Radical Pro 5000 calipers in front and Elise OEM front calipers in back. Both use GiroDiscs rotors. Konig Hypergram wheels (15×8.5, 17×9) cover those wearing Yokohama A055 tires. Read more about the car’s build in the project page or listen to Fenton give his review of the car while completing a 1:41.33 lap in the video below.
