LS3-Powered Toyota FJ62
Land Cruiser Restorations (LCR) built this 1989 Toyota FJ62 Land Cruiser at their company in Belle Plaine, Kansas. The factory inline-six has given way to a supercharged 6.2 L LS3 V8 making 425 hp (319 kW) and 430 lb-ft (583 Nm) of torque. That is backed by an 6L80E six-speed automatic transmission and Advanced Adapters transfer case adapter to connect to the factory 4WD drivetrain with an ARB locking differential to the rear axle. LCR reinforced the factory chassis with 1/4-inch steel plate to accommodate a 10,00 lb pulling capacity and 2,000 lb tongue weight capacity. The Land Cruiser rides on an Old Man Emu suspension with heavy-duty springs, steering stabilizer, and rebuilt Birfield knuckles. On the outside LCR gave the body fresh two-tone paint with new OEM chrome bumpers, Grote LED headlights, LCR rock sliders, and ICON Edition wheels.
