Godzilla-Powered 1972 Ford F-250
Project 15 Motorsports debuted their newest project; a 1972 Ford F-250 called “Carolina” with an updated powertrain. In the engine bay sits a 7.3 L Godzilla V8 producing 430 hp (316 kW) and 475 lb-ft (644 Nm) of torque. The big-block motor is paired to a 10R80 10-speed automatic transmission and rebuilt NP205 divorced transfer case. Torque is split between a Kingpin Dana 60 front axle and Dana 60 rear axle. Project 15 Motorsports improved handling with ADS Racing 2.5-inch shocks, Atlas leaf-springs, and disc brakes on each corner. The exterior uses the factory blue paint accented by Holley RetroBright LED headlights and taillights, and Detroit Steel 18×9-inch wheels wearing BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM3 35-inch tires.
