Nissan 350Z with a Turbo Mercedes Inline-Six

Dakota Welbourn is building a unique 2003 Nissan 350Z at his company Turbo Moose Performance in New Albany, Indiana. The factory 3.5 L V6 has given way to a turbocharged Mercedes M104 inline-six. The motor features forged internals, Precision 6870 Next Gen turbocharger, and Ecumasters EMU Black ECU. The fuel system will use a Radium surge tank and two DW810 pumps. Dakota’s goal is to make 1250 hp to the wheels tuned by Hippo Tuning. Behind the motor is a billet adapter connected to a CD009 six-speed manual transmission.
