BMW E30 with a Maserati F136 V8
Max Ovca built this 1985 BMW 325e with a Ferrari-Maserati F136 V8. The motor sits on custom mounts and features a custom dry sump, custom exhaust headers, custom wiring harness, and FuelTech Ft550 ECU. It is kept cool by a Chase Bays Civic radiator with two 10-inch fans. Behind the V8 is a custom adapter plate and McLeod triple-disc clutch connected to a BMW E36 ZF five-speed manual transmission. The rest of the drivetrain uses a one-piece chromoly driveshaft and limited-slip differential with 4.10 ratio. The front suspension uses Fortune Auto 500-series coilovers, M3 aluminum control arms, E46 steering rack, and AP Racing four-piston calipers with two-piece slotted rotors. The rear uses a Stim Tech pushrod rear suspension, Jegs adjustable coilovers, and factory BMW calipers with Zimmerman rotors. The unique look is due to a Pandem V1.5 widebody kit covered in Bronzit Beige Metallic (139) paint and Compomotive TH601 16-inch wheels.
