Ryan Tuerck’s “GT411” project started as a 1994 Toyota Celica GT with a 2.2 L 5S-FE inline-four and FWD drivetrain. Ryan and his team swapped a turbocharged 1.6 L G16E inline-three typically found in a GR Corolla or GR Yaris. Precision Balancing & Machine rebuilt the motor with Nitto forged pistons and rods, Kelford Stage 2 camshafts, Supertech valvetrain, Garrett G30-770 turbocharger, and custom exhaust header by Victor Teixeira. The motor is capable of 500 hp (367 kW) on low boost and 650 hp (478 kW) on high boost. Ryan paired the motor with an AWD drivetrain featuring a Holinger sequential transmission and Wavetrac differentials. You can watch the project’s full build on Ryan’s channel.
