1968 Charger with a Supercharged HEMI V8
This 1968 Dodge Charger is powered by a supercharged 526 ci Hemi V8 built by Indy Cylinder Head. It features an Indy Maxx aluminum block, TTI exhaust headers, SR aluminum ported heads, and CVR Pro-Flo electric water pump. On top are Holley Super Sniper EFI Dual Quads and a Blower Shop 8-71 supercharger. The motor produces 950 hp (708 kW) and 880 lb-ft (1193 Nm) of torque. Power is transmitted by a built 4L80 four-speed automatic transmission to a narrowed 8.75-inch rear end with a 3.71 ratio. The Charger’s front suspension uses a RMS AlterKtion tubular K-member with a power steering rack and Wilwood six-piston calipers with 14-inch rotors. In the back is a 4-link rear suspension and Wilwood four-piston calipers with 12-inch rotors. A set of Colorado Customs wheels (18×7, 20×15) wear Nitto NTSSS front tires and Mickey Thompson Sportsman rear tires. The Charger will be for sale at Mecum on April 11th.
