Ford SVT Lightning with a Turbo Coyote V8 Makes 1000+ hp on the Dyno

Bob Dill built his famous 2001 Ford SVT Lightning for drag racing. Under the hood is a turbocharged Coyote V8 built by Next Gen Performance Center. Bob and the truck recently visited Next Gen Performance Center for dyno tuning with Kevin MacDonald. The motor made 737 hp (542 kW) on 14-15 psi (0.9-1.0 bar) and 1070 hp (786 kW) on 21 psi (1.4 bar) of boost.
