2021 Silverado with a Supercharged L8T V8 Makes 688 hp on the Dyno

This 2021 Chevy Silverado came with a 6.2 L L87 V8. The factory motor made a healthy 420 hp (313 kW) and 460 lb-ft (624 Nm). The owner wanted more so it went to Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center for their supercharged L8T crate motor. The new power plant uses a cast-iron block, factory L8T crankshaft, Callies forged rods, Wiseco pistons, SDPC camshaft (218°/228°, .528″/.528″), SDPC VVT delete kit, Magnuson 2650 supercharger. It features 10.8:1 compression ratio and DSX flex fuel system. After the swap the truck visited Lonestar Horsepower for tuning. The motor made 688 hp (506 kW) and 708 lb-ft (959 Nm) on an E50 blend fuel and 10 psi of boost. Watch the dyno session in the video below.
