1970 Superbird Replica with a 440 Six Pack V8

Published in engineswapdepot.com

John Miller always wanted a Superbird since he was 12 years old. So many years later and John decided to build his own using a 1970 Plymouth Satellite shell. In the engine bay he installed a real 440 “Six Pack” V8 he owned since his 20’s. Behind that he has an A-833 four-speed manual transmission and 8.75-inch rear end with a 3.23 ratio. John rebuilt the car’s suspension and added Hemi/Six Pack sway bars and torsion bars. He converted the front brakes to disc while the rear are 11×2.5-inch drum brakes. The body received a reproduction fiberglass nose, real aluminum wing, and Hot Rod Flatz Red Oxide satin paint. You can read more about the project in Hot Rod’s article.
