This 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 is powered by a monster 598 ci (9.7L) V8 from Kaase Racing Engines. The monster motor produces 1062 hp (781 kW) and 830 lb-ft (1125 Nm) of torque thanks to its 15:1 compression ratio and a Get’M Garage 1650 cfm carburetor delivering plenty of fuel. Behind the V8 is a McLeod twin-disc clutch and four-speed manual transmission. A carbon fiber driveshaft sends all the torque to a Traction-Lock differential with 4.11 ratio and 35-spline alxes. The car rides on Calvert Racing leaf springs and Magnum 500-style 15-inch wheels with Cooper tires in front and Mickey Thompson drag radials in back. The unique Mustang can be found for sale on Bring a Trailer.
