Vorshlag Motorsports was looking for a new engine for their 2013 Scion FRS race car. Although they developed a LSx V8 swap kit for the FRS, they wanted something different. They settled on a 3.7 L Honda J37 V6. The company used their experience to convert the motor from a transverse FWD setup to a longitudinal RWD setup. Behind the V6 will be a custom adapter plate and Aisin AZ6 six-speed manual transmission from a 2009-2011 Mazda RX-8. Hopefully their hard work will result in a swap kit to help others install a Honda V6 into their Scion FRS and Subaru BRZ.
