
Subaru Impreza with a 800 hp Turbo Flat-Six

Aleck Kazakovski’s company Got It Rex (GIR) specializes in Subaru performance parts and fabrication. One of their projects is a Subaru Impreza STI Type R (GC8) built for time attack. Aleck chose to use a turbocharged EJ33 flat-six featuring a closed deck, forged rods and pistons, upgraded camshafts and valve springs, and GIR custom six-stage dry sump. The motor typically produces 600-650 kW (804-871 hp) to the wheels on a Emtron KV12 ECU. Behind the motor is a Modena Engineering six-speed sequential transmission controlled by Shiftec paddle shifters. The exterior is a custom carbon fiber widebody made by GIR.
