Published in engineswapdepot.com

Scott Birdsall and his Toyota race truck attended Bonneville Speed Week 2025. While there Scott recorded a 2-way record of 239.210 mph (384.97 km/h) and official exit speed of 250.814 mph (403.64 km/h) on 32 psi (2.2 bar) of boost (1100 hp). Scott built the truck at his company Chuckles Garage with a turbocharged 3.2 L 2JZ-GTE inline-six. The motor features an Iron Eagle short-block, Brian Crower Stage 3+ camshafts, Garret G45-1500 turbocharger, Cameron Salsedo ported head, Artec Performance exhaust manifold, and CPC Manufacturing 12-injector billet intake manifold. Fuel is fed by 12 ID2600 injectors by a Platinum Racing Products mechanical fuel pump. A 6XD six-speed sequential transmission sends power through a Driveshaft Shop carbon fiber driveshaft to a Winters quick-change rear end. You can read the truck’s full specs here.
