Published in engineswapdepot.com

The 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 came from the factory with a supercharged 6.2 L Hemi V8 making 1,025 hp (753 kW) and 945 lb-ft (1281 Nm) of torque on E85 fuel. For those that need more power Hennessey Performance developed the “Demon 1700” upgrade starting at $200,000. The upgrade offers 1725 hp (1268 kW) and 1400 lb-ft (1898 Nm) of torque thanks to a built 440 ci (7.2L) Hemi V8 helped by two Precision PT6870 turbochargers making 22.5 psi (1.5 bar) of boost. Hennessey pairs the power plant with a Stage 3 automatic transmission, upgraded driveshaft, and 3.09 ratio differentials. Watch the twin-turbo Demon V8 on the dyno in the video below.
