Twerk Team Racing’s Honda S2000 is Powered by a Maserati F136 V8

Published in engineswapdepot.com

Alex Westergaard and his Twerk Team Racing “F2000” compete in Gridlife time attack. In 2023 Alex wanted his Honda S2000 to be powered by a Maserati F136 S V8. So he turned to James Morgan and Matt Rychtarcyzk at Speed Freaks USA to realize his wild dream. There the team invested a lot of work getting the F136 S V8 running with help from Eric Lavigne. The V8 sits on custom mounts on a factory S200 subframe. It retains the factory dry sump system assisted by an Aviaid tank and AN16 lines. A custom adapter by Speed Freaks USA allow the motor to bolt to the factory S2000 six-speed manual transmission. Listen to the V8 scream in the videos below from the first dyno and testing sessions.
