1970 Chevelle with a Supercharged LT4 V8
Ironworks Speed & Kustom built this 1970 Chevelle as part of their Legacy Series. Under the hood is a supercharged 6.2 L LT4 V8 delivering 650 hp (478 kW) and 650 lb-ft (881 Nm) of torque. A twin-disc clutch transfers that power to a Bowler T56 six-speed manual transmission, Mark Williams driveshaft, and GearFX independent 9-inch rear end. The car rides on a Speedtech Performance IRS chassis with Ultimate Performance custom valved JRI shocks and Wilwood six-piston calipers with 14-inch rotors. In front of those are 19×10 wheels in front with 285/35 tires and 20×12 wheels in rear with 335/30 tires. The red leather interior features modern power Camaro seats on a recessed floor. In front of that are Dakota Digital gauges and an Ironworks billet steering wheel. View more photos in the build album.
